Renaissance Car at Home... in a Body Bag

Due to a lack of immediate interest by anyone to purchase the Renaissance Mobile AND considering that I had just invested $1600 in the vehicle, it is now sitting in the driveway. Covered in a new "body bag".

I've thought about trying to repair it myself, but I have to admit this is over my head. Maybe if I had the correct tools. However, since I got laid off 7/16/07, I don't have spare money to even buy the tools.

Its been suggested to part it out on eBay, but I don't want to get left with a lot of junk sitting there. It actually runs and can be driven (well, probably not legally with the state of the lights).

Another suggestion it to buy another not-so-nice copy and use parts from both cars to make a real nice one. This is not a bad solution, but again, I've got to get a job first. Also, it is not an easy car to find locally so, I'd have to travel 200-400 miles to get one.

The last suggestion is to drive it off a bridge at Lake Norman; if it floats, I spend savings to repair it. If it sinks, I spend savings to repair me.

Anybody want a "nice" '93 Aussie Capri?

What kind of tools do you need? I have friends. Maybe I can help you finance the fix without paying it back? But we have to film the whole project; got a tripod for your camera? Are you serious about fixing it yourself?

        Well, let's see....

First, a Rosary may be a good tool. I've standing there staring at it and crying "oh hell"; might as well add the "Mary".

Second, the fron part of another Capri will likely be needed. Or a Capri that I can use mine as the parts car.

Third, a job to make money to buy the Rosary and the parts.

Actualy, I do have a Anglican Rosary but the cross was broken... oh hell !!

I don't want the Aussie, can't afford what I've got... but what will you do with the body bag?

If nothing else, I'm going to use the body bag as a parachute in an attempt to use the Capri to jump across Sugaw Creek. I figure the attention could help to raise funds to get another Renaissance Mobile.
